Pierre DARIEL (1889-1953), conjunto de cama e duas mesas de cabeceira Art Deco (3)
Pierre DARIEL (1889-1953), bed set and two Art Deco bedside tables, veneered in "Partridge's Eye". A bedside table signed on the base, in fire "P. Dariel". Faults, defects, creases and scratches. With padded platform. (3) Dim. approx. total (bed): 90 x 212.5 x 157 cm.; Dim. approx. total (tables): 37.5 x 37.3 x 54 cm. This set was a unique order, made for a French family in the city of Le Havre. The pieces were acquired at the auction of the contents of this family's house, around 20 years ago. In the 1930s/40s, Pierre DARIEL (XIX-XX) supplied furniture for the Contesse de Noailles in a style inspired by Francis Jourdain and Robert Mallet -Stevens.
