Letter by Rabbi Michoel HaLevi Ish Horowitz. Regarding his Sefer (Included in this Lot). Cracow 1931.
Autograph letter by R. Michoel HaLevi Ish Horowitz to R. Shlomo Flohrsheim of Amsterdam regarding his Sefer- a commentary on the Megillos- that he co-authored with R. Baruch Epstein (Torah Temimah). The sefer, Avodas HaLevi’im, consists of two parts, Gishmei Brocha by The Torah Temimah and Megilas Sefer by R. Michoel Horowitz. Curiously, they published their seforim together and as they were both Levi’im named the sefer Avodas HaLevi’im.
R. Michoel HaLevi Ish Horowitz (1870-1940), was a son of R. Chaim Aryeh Leibush Horowitz, Rav in Cracow. A distinguished Talmid Chochom, he authored numerous seforim.
Sefer Avodas HaLevi’im (Cracow 1930) included in this lot. Moderate condition.
Size: 20.5 by 10.5 cm.
Condition: Fine condition.
