Leslie Bumgarner (1925-1992) oil on canvas board, untitled birch trees at sunset, signed lower left, good condition, size: 16 x 24.25 inches. Bumgarner was born in Oil Hill, KS in 1925 and worked as an oil field derrick man but painted every day. His parents first notices his artist talents in when he was in the second grade. Bumgarner became a full time artist in 1968, painting portraits.
