Lucille Runbeck (1898-1973) untitled farm silo, watercolor, signed in lower left, good condition, image size: 12.25 x 18 inches. untitled chrysanthemum, watercolor, signed in lower right, fair condition, small tear in paper under vase and wrinkled, image size:19 x 13 inches. Lucille Almgren Runbeck (1898-1973) born in McPherson, KS, graduated from McPherson High School. She taught art in Lindsborg and Canton public schools. Runbeck is a graduate of Kansas University Art Department and taught two years in Topeka at Washburn Mulvane Art museum and was later Supervisor of Art in Emporia Public Schools. Known for ceramics and painting, she made Lindsborg, KS her home after marriage to Art Runbeck.
