2 Charles Hinman "Birds" Silkscreens
Charles Hinman (American, b. 1932). Group of two minimalist silkscreens on paper:
One titled "Lavender Birds, " depicting pale lavender and yellow geometric shapes on an ochre background. Pencil signed along the lower right; numbered 56/200 along the lower left.
One titled "Orange Birds, " depicting orange and yellow geometric shapes on a white background. Pencil signed along the lower right; numbered 58/200 along the lower left.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
Each; height: 26 in x width: 34 1/2 in.
Condition: The prints are in excellent condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. No sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. There are a few areas with stretches to the frame; however, it does not affect the print. Both are framed under plexiglass. Not inspected out of frame.
