Lyn Godwin "Striped Fury" Tiger Pastel Drawing
Lyn Godwin (American, 20th c). Pastel on paper drawing titled "Striped Fury, " depicting a snarling tiger. Signed along the lower center. Godwin was an illustration artist whose work was featured on the cover of Field & Stream magazine on March 1944, also a tiger. She was known for her works depicting animals as well as the "Godwin Girl, " a pin-up image.
