Terence La Noue "Kyoto Falls" 1992-97 Mixed Media
Terence David La Noue (American, b. 1941). Mixed media on wood artwork titled "Kyoto Falls, " depicting an abstract scene inspired by the famous waterfalls in Kyoto, Japan, 1992-1997. Signed, titled, and dated along the verso. Often taking years to complete, his works are held in numerous collections including the Center for Contemporary Art in Kitakyushu, Japan, the Power Institute of Fine Arts in Sydney, Australia, the Musee d'Art et Archeologie in Paris, France, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Whitney Musem of American Art, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
