Jack Roth Abstract Mixed Media on Paper 1982
Jack Roth (American, 1927-2004) also known as "Rodney Jack Roth." Mixed media painting on paper depicting an abstract scene. Pencil signed and dated along the lower right. Pencil inscribed "LA468" along the lower right quadrant. With a sticker from M. Knoedler & Co., Inc affixed along the verso.
Unframed; height: 50 in x width: 38 in. Framed; height: 51 1/2 in x width: 39 1/4 in.
Condition: The item is in good condition with no visible tears, creases or losses. All margins are visible under the plexiglass. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. To all four corners, there are several pinholes, most likely original to the artistic practice. To the upper right and left quadrants, there are horizontal marks. Light handling marks. Not inspected out of frame; verso is not inspected. Very light wear to the frame.
