Fred Haise Signed Envelope w/ Kapton Foil A16
Flown fragment of Kapton foil insulation from the Apollo 16 mission. Behind a plastic sleeve affixed to an envelope and certified authentic. The envelope depicting the lift-off of the Apollo 16 shuttle. Autographed and annotated by Fred Haise (American, b. 1933). The message reading "Apollo 16 BU CDR."
Cover; height: 3 3/4 in x width: 6 1/2 in. Foil; height: 1/2 in x width: 1/4 in.
Condition: The item is in good condition with no visible creases, losses, or tears. The paper toned has foxing and light soiling. The foil is kept intact under the transparent tape. No visible sign of restoration when inspected under UV light. Along the front of the envelope, there is possible glue residue to the lower right and left quadrants; there is another possible glue residue to the upper left quadrant. Along the back of the envelope, there are two lines of glue marks.
