70mm Original NASA Transparency LM Returning to CM
Original 70mm NASA color positive transparency film display depicting the lunar module returning to the command module. Dated July 16, 1969 to July 21, 1969. From flight CSM-107 LM-5. Mounted in frame number AS11-44-6628.
Sight; height: 2 1/4 in x width: 2 1/4 in. Matted; height: 8 3/4 in x width: 5 1/2 in.
Condition: The transparency is in fair condition with no tears, creases or losses. The colors are bold and bright when lit. There is an approx. 3/4 inch long possibly chemical stain or residue to the surface of the transparency along the upper center that is russet-colored; visible in the lot listing. There are three smaller areas where the photograph appears cloudy, possibly also a chemical stain or residue, along the upper left and right corners and the lower left corner. Not inspected out of frame. The card frame is in excellent condition with no tears, creases, or losses.
