Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Vases
Pair of large Chinese late Qing or Republic cloisonne vases. Decorated with floral motifs and intricate curling scrollwork.
Provenance: MBA Auctions; Private Minnesota collection.
Each, height: 13 1/4 in x diameter: 6 in.
Condition: To both vases there is some discoloration to the metal components, especially along the interior and footrim. To one of the vases there is one minute dent along the shoulder only visible upon close inspection. To the other vase there are three small dents along the shoulder and one dent near the footrim. There are minute losses to the cloisonne at these points. No signs of restoration, further cracks or losses, or large dents.
