2 Early Chinese Green Ceramic Bowls
Group of two early Chinese ceramic green glazed bowls, likely Song Dynasty. The interiors with incised geometric decoration.
(Taller) height: 2 1/4 in x diameter: 5 1/2 in. (Shorter) height: 1 3/4 in x diameter: 6 1/4 in.
Condition: Both bowls show age and wear. To the smaller bowl, there are several cracks on the sides. There is a restoration measureing approximately 1 1/2 inches to the upper rim of the smaller bowl. To the interior of the smaller bowl there are five large firing flaws. There are numerous small chips to the upper rim of the larger bowl. Wear to the footrims of both bowls. Extensive crazing to the glaze of each bowl. Losses to the glaze along the upper rims of both bowls. Small glazing flaws throuhgout.
