Tonita Pena (Quah Ah) (San Ildefonso Pueblo, 1893-1949). Tempera on paper painting depicting a group of Native American Pueblo people dancing. Signed along the lower right.
Sight; height: 13 1/4 in x width: 13 3/4 in. Framed; height: 22 in x width: 22 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright and the surface appears stable. The sheet is toned and there are small spots of foxing or soiling throughout. There are no visible tears, creases, or restorations when viewed under UV light. Framed under an acidic mat. Light wear to the frame; framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame.
