Syd Browne (American, 1907-1991). Oil on board seascape painting depicting a rocky shore beat by white-capped waves. Seagulls fly above the spray. Signature incised in the paint along the lower right.
Sight; height: 9 1/2 in x width: 15 3/4 in. Framed; height: 11 3/4 in x width: 17 3/4 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no major losses, cracks, or creases. There is minute craquelure throughout. There are signs of wear along the extreme edges. Not examined out of frame. No signs of restoration under UV light.
