"Love With The Proper Stranger" Original Painting
Original painted movie advertisement poster for the 1963 film "Love with Proper Strangers" starring Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen. The movie was released via Paramount Pictures in 1963 and was directed by Robert Mulligan, written by Arnold Schulman, and additionally stars Edie Adams and Herschel Bernardi. The movie was nominated for five Academy Awards at the 1964 Oscars.
Sight; height: 43 1/2 in x width: 27 1/2 in. Framed; height: 46 in x width: 30 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no major losses or creases. There are minute losses throughout. There are several tears across the extreme edges, primarily along the center margin of the right and left side. There is another tear along the lower right quadrant measuring approximately 4 inches. There is a tear along the side of the lower right edge measuring 5 inches. There is a crease across the lower UV light. Framed under plexiglass. Wear to the frame. Not examined out of frame.
