20th c. Japanese Hammered Brass Tea Pot
Japanese hammered brass tea pot, ca. early 20th century, Meiji to Taisho period. Marked along the base. The upper third of the teapot decorated with a checkerboard or basketweave pattern.
(Handles extended up) height: 9 1/2 in x width: 7 1/4 in x diameter: 5 3/4 in.
Condition: All pieces move smoothly. There are a few small dents along the underside. Discoloration along the throughout and verdigris patination along the interior and underside.
