Walther Hermann Ryff (French/German, 1500-1548). "Kurtzes Handtbuchlein und Experiment vieler Arznenen durch denganken Corper des Menschens von dem Haupt bis auf die Fuss." Published in Strasbourg, 1599. In a tooled leather binding. With numerous hand-painted illustrations of flowers, vegetables, and herbs throughout.
Height: 6 1/2 in x width: 4 in x depth: 1 1/2 in.
Condition: The binding of the book is loose. There are handling marks, some small tears and holes, small stains, toning, and other signs of wear throughout as expected from a book of this age. One of the metal clasps is broken. Wear to the cover. One page missing.
