Clement Haupers Female Nude Painting
Clement Bernard Haupers (American, 1900-1982). Oil on canvas-laid board depicting a reclining nude. Signed along the lower right.

Clement Bernard Haupers was a St. Paul born American painter, printmaker, arts administrator, and arts educator active from the 1920s to the 1980s. He is best known for his directorship of the Minnesota Works Progress Administration Federal Art Project and for his influence in the Minnesota art community.

Sight; height: 7 1/2 in x width: 15 1/4 in. Framed; height: 15 1/4 in x width: 23 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: There are no visible losses or restorations when viewed under UV light. The colors are somewhat subdued. Verso and edges not inspected. Not viewed out of frame. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame.
