19th c. Tibetan Painted Wood Torgham Cabinet
Tall Tibetan thangka "torgham" or butter cabinet depicting lacquered and painted tantric dragon motifs along the exterior, early 19th century. With bands of green floral motifs along the edges of the cabinet.
Height: 38 1/2 in x width: 17 1/2 in x depth: 17 3/4 in.
Condition: Wear throughout consistent with age and use including scuffs, losses to the pigment, large chips and some losses along the top surface. Some seperation to the joints throughout.
