19th c. Qing Chinese Wooden Brushpot Bitong Vase
Chinese Qing dynasty era carved wooden brushpot or short bitong vase depicting scholars gathered around tables amid a densely forested landscape, late 19th century. There is a faded stamped four-character mark along the underside.
Height: 6 1/2 in x diameter: 6 1/4 in.
Condition: There are several splits and cracks running horizontally through the wood throughout. Some small chips along the more inticate and delicate details of the carved designs along the front of the vase. Wear to the footrim. Dust and debris gathered throughout.
