Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849) after Totoya Hokkei (Japanese, 1780-1850). Woodblock print titled "The Chomunju: Snake and Melons, " from the series "Comparison of Japanese Books (Washo Kurabe), 19th century.
Height: 8 3/4 in x width: 7 1/4 in.
Condition: The sheet has been possibly trimmed and is toned. Some soiling throughout. There is residual scraps of paper affixed to the verso. The work is not framed.
