William R. Dunlap, born in 1944 in Houston, Mississippi, is an American artist known for his work in painting, printmaking, sculpture, and photography, often associated with hypothetical realism. His art explores themes of history, allegory, and the art-making process. He is exhibited at notable institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Art. Dunlap has received numerous prestigious awards, including those from the Rockefeller Foundation and the Warhol Foundation.

Sight: height: 23 3/4 in x width: 47 3/4 in. Framed; height: 24 1/2 in x width: 48 1/4 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. The sheet is toned. There are no major visible tears, losses, or signs of restoration. Framed under plexiglass; light wear to the frame including accretions and some light scratches along the plexiglass. Not inspected out of frame.
