Alexander Hamilton Signed Historical Document
Double-sided historical document or letter signed by Founding Father Alexander Hamilton (1757-1804). His signature appears in the lower left corner of the document. Possibly dated November 8, 1797.
Sight; height: 8 3/4 in x width: 14 1/2 in. Framed; height: 25 1/2 in x width: 22 in x depth: 1 in.
Condition: The sheet is toned. There are no major visible tears or losses. Wear and fleabite chips along the edges. There are creases throughout, consistent with folding. Light soiling throughout, especially along the extreme edges, as expected with age. Minute losses along the deep creases. Housed under an acidic mat. Framed under plexiglass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
