Raphaelle Segun "Emile" Acrylic on Canvas Painting
Raphaelle Segun (Canadian, 20th/21st c). Acrylic on canvas painting titled "Emile" depicting a figure with large eyes, glasses, and a tulip-filled shirt. Initialed and titled along the verso. With a certificate of authenticity.
Provenance: Beauchamp, Toronto; Private Minnesota Collection.
Sight; height: 48 in x width: 36 in. Framed; height: 50 in x width: 38 in x depth: 1 1/2 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright and the surface appears stable. There are no major tears, losses, or restorations when viewed under UV light. There is a small chip to the varnish along the upper right corner. Light accretions along the upper edge. Light wear to the extreme edges. Housed in a wooden frame; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
