John Randall Nelson (American, b. 1956). Mixed media on panel painting titled "Whitey" depicting a fedora hat against a deep red background. Signed and titled along the verso. With a label from Chiaroscuro Contemporary Art affixed to the verso.
Provenance: Chiaroscuro Contemporary Art, Santa Fe; Private Minnesota Collection.
Height: 9 in x width: 9 in x depth: 1 1/4 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and deep. There are no major breaks, losses or signs of restoration. The is a minute and extremely faint scuff along the lower left corner. The work is not framed.
