John Conrad Berkey Nude Painting
John Conrad Berkey (American, 1932-2008). Acrylic on illustration board painting of a nude woman against an abstracted background, 2004. Signed along the lower right. Marked "BN7" along the verso. Dated 12-15-04 along the verso.
Berkey is perhaps most well-known for his science fiction works including much of the original poster art for the original Star Wars trilogy.
Height: 20 in x width: 27 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible chips cracks or restorations when viewed under UV light. Light wear along the extreme edges of the board. Light accretions throughout the surface of the painting, particularly along the upper left corner. The work is not framed.
