Chris Larson "Celebration-Love-Loss" Mixed Media
Chris Larson (American, 20th/21st c). Mixed media sculpture constructed of plaster, cypress wood, and charcoal titled "Celebration/Love/Loss" depicting unsecured fragments of charred wood atop an irregular plaster surface with several channels and regions demarcated by cypress wood boundaries, 2013. Housed in a white framed shadowbox. With a label affixed to a cardboard box that reads "Ed 25, 2 AP"; editioned "15/25."
Height: 11 in x width: 13 in x depth: 2 1/2 in.
Condition: No losses or repairs. The charcoal pieces are loose in the shadowbox, likely intentional. Light wear to the cardboard box.
