Nicola Constantino "Crystal Tears" Mixed Media
Nicola Constantino (Argentine, b. 1964). Gelatin silver print photograph and applied Swarovski crystal 'tears' titled "Crystal Tears, after Man Ray, " 2006. Depicting a photograph of the artist's eyes in the style of Man Ray's 1932 photograph "Glass Tears." Signed, numbered 3/6, and dated 2006 along the verso in sharpie.
Sight; height: 4 3/4 in x width: 6 in. Framed; height: 13 in x width: 14 1/4 in x depth: 2 in.
Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible tears, creases, losses, or restorations. Housed under an acidic mat. Yellowing to the cryststals from the adhesive used. Framed under glass; light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
