European, Probably German or English 19th C. old example of a wood carved crusades period knight with full chainmail. Size 15" H
Crusades began as early as 1096 and initially resulting in the capture of Jerusalem in 1099 and followed with a number of additional campaigns by Christian armies thru the 13th century.
