SOVIET SLAVE LABORER''S WORKER''S CARD
An "arbeitskarte", or worker's paper issued to a female Soviet slave laborer pressed into service in Germany. The 2pp. 8vo. card was issued to Nadja Horbatschowa, born in 1927 and from Chernobyl. The card is issued in Schwandorff on Oct. 19, 1944 and the woman was put to work as a "land worker", most likely working crops. Her photo, signature and fingerprints are affixed to the card.
