REDON ODILON: (1840-1916) French Painter. Best known for his Dreamlike works inspired by Japanese art. A.L.S., `Odilon Redon´, two pages, written to first and third page, 8vo, yellow paper, Paris, 16th December 1896, to Monsieur Lafargue, in French. Redon asks a favour to his correspondent, stating in part `I was very glad to see you again these last few days. I come to ask you if you would know a capable business affairs agent who would advance a sum of money to one of my young friends.
