Letter of good name -ZFAT with signatures of the Rabbis of Tzfat-1909
A hand written document, Ink on paper, from Zfat -1909. In this document The Rabbis and heads of the community of Tzfat on a document of approbation (letter of good name) for Mr Salim Cohen of the Agami Gershon Cohen family. In the letter those signed are testifying to the good nature and reliability and how he is loved by the whole city- both Ashkenaz and Sphardi inhabitants. Amongst those signed are : Rabbi Haim Stahon- 1. Head of the Sphardi community in Tzfat 2. Rabbi Yosef Kanovitz- Son in Law of the chief Rabbi of tzfat
