'Seder Ta'aniot.' Amsterdam, 1771.
[1] 2, 132 pages, 17.5 cm. With an approbation from Rabbi Shlomo Shalem, rabbi of the Sephardic community of Amsterdam. The haftarah of Tisha B'Av has a Spanish translation for the Spanish Marranos who moved to Amsterdam.
On the first two pages are the kinnot " Yom ze kehilati hesped higdili" and " Al naharot Bavel eretz shivyeinu" by "Chafshi, " the literary name of Rabbi David Franco Mendes, one of the Spanish scholars in Amsterdam, and one of the heads of the Eitz Chaim Beit Midrash. On page 128 is the handwritten signature of the publisher, Jacab da Silva Mendez, who was one of the heads of the Portuguese community in Amsterdam.
Magnificent leather cover with gold embossing. A few light aging stains. Very fine condition.
