pink gold 18 k, 36 x 48 mm / Urwerk Targa wristwatch, pink gold, men, rarity, reference 103.09rg, mechanical movement. Black dial with Arabic numerals. The massive crown is placed at the top of the case. The crown is removed for winding and time setting. The back of the case has a "control board" where displays for seconds, minutes and power reserve are located, along with a micro-adjustment device. The seconds and minutes displays on the control board are used to set the wristwatch.
Basically, there are four orbiting aluminium cones, painted black and with a bright light, displaying the hour along the arc of the minute at the bottom of the wristwatch. The four cones are connected to a cross and each cone pivots to the next position when crossing under the golden peninsula. As avant-garde as this time display system is, it is also immediately intuitive when you wear the wristwatch.
