WILHELM KEITEL
(1882 - 1946) German field marshal and army chief of staff under Adolph Hitler, convicted of war crimes and executed at Nuremburg. Heavily-redacted T.L.S. 'Keitel' on Army Chief of Staff letterhead, 1p. large 4to., Kassel, expressing his condolences after the death of an individual, though the pertinent content has been blacked out. Signed at the conclusion in purple ink. Ink stain at upper-left, two file holes, else fine.
