WILLIAM "WILD BILL" GUARNERE
(1923 - 2014) Army soldier who fought in World War II as a non-commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, the Band of Brothers". Good lot of three signed items, includes: I.S.P., 7 x 4 in. color, showing Guarnere and fellow soldier Edward "Babe" Heffron in a military graveyard, signed on the recto, adding "So. Philly", and signed on the verso, adding "Margraten Cemetery" TOUR 04". Fine. WITH: Signed adhesive name tag, 12mo., 3.5 x 2.5 in., containing brief biography of the soldier under the heading "101st Airborne... "Screaming Eagles", signed in the center in bold black ink, fine. WITH: I.S.P, 5.5 x 4 in. b/w, a portrait of young Guarnere in uniform, signed at the bottom in black ink, adding "Co. E 506... 101st... "Band of Brothers". Fine. Three pieces."
