Rare Pair Of Silver Candlesticks, Posen (Poznan), Germany, Circa 1800.
The candlesticks are set on square bases with delicate engraved ornaments, polygonal stem decorated with acanthus leaves to the lower part and topped with a foliage petticoat.
Detachable nozzles.
Marked with Posen (nowadays - Poznan in Poland) city mark, Prussia, partly illegible - this Posen city mark was used between 1780-1834.
