Silver medal in memory of the Jewish - Hungarian philosopher, Leopold Low Lipot, a rabbi, and a descendant of the Maharal of Prague. The medal shows the portrait of the Rabbi, accompanied by his signature, and date of birth and death (1811-1875). On the reverse is the image of the Great Synagogue of Szeged, Hungary, surrounded by a Hebrew inscription. Stamped 925 on the rim. Apparently, Hungary, the 20th century. Diameter: approximately 4 cm. Good condition, wear.
