14k gold brooch, apparently awarded as a prize for merit to a student of nursing, presented by the Jewish Hospital school for Nurses in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pin shows a bird feeding its babies, and the Latin inscription: Vita Meo Vobis Parta Cruore Manet. Marked 14k on the back. The United States, 1926.Approximately 4X3 cm. Approximately 7 grams. Good condition, wear.
