Jewish Youth Movement Blau Weiss Pin - Germany
Enameled pin of the German Jewish youth movement Blue and White (Blau Weiss). The pin shows an anchor, alongside the Hebrew initials of the movement. Stamped on the back with the manufacturer name: Gravers zavko Subotica, Serbia.
Blau Weiss was a German Jewish youth movement, and one of the first Jewish youth movements, established in Germany in 1912. It later spread to other German speaking countries, and adopted a Zionist agenda. The movement ceased to exist in 1929.
Apparently, Serbia. Circa 1920. Diameter: approximately 1.5 cm. Good condition, wear.
