A silver Tetradrachm in the name of Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 B.C.E.), Acre.
Obv.: Head of Herakles facing right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev.: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. On right, Greek inscription AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ ('
of Alexander'). In left field Phoenician letters ayin and kaph, proclaiming that Acre was the mint, followed by a date.
