A silver Tetradrachm in the name of Alexander III 'the Great', Pella (ca. 317/6-315/4 B.C.E.).
Obv.: Head of Herakles facing right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev.: Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. To left, Boeotian shield; serpent below throne. On right, Greek inscription AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ ( 'of Alexander').
