Obv: Facing busts of Heraclius, with short beard and tufts of hair at ears, on left, and Heraclius Constantine, (much smaller) beardless on right, both wearing chlamys and simple crown with cross on circlet; cross between their heads; around, dd NN hERACLIUS ET hERA CONST PP AVG
Rev: Cross potent on three steps; mintmark CONOB; around, VICTORIA AVGU H.
Ca. 616-625 C.E. 4.38 grams, 2.05 cm. diam. Cf. Berk, H. Roman Gold Coins of the Mediaeval World. no. 121.
According to Simon Bendall this was struck in Jerusalem.
