Late Bronze Age ca. 1550-1200 B.C.E. is characterized by prolific trade in the Eastern Mediterranean. That all comes to an abrupt stop with the migrations of the Sea Peoples from the Aegean to the eastern Mediterranean littoral. The parallel story in the Biblical narrative as the exodus from Egypt.
