Silk Cover - Souvenir from Palestine - WW2
Silk cloth embroidered with the Tower of David un Jerualem and the Tomb of Rachel. Its center shows the Australian flag and the British flag. Apparently made by a soldier in the Australian Imperial Force or ANZAC Corps (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) in World War Two. Palestine, circa 1941.
Approximately 36X36 cm. Good - average condition, stains, fraying, holes, wear.
