The Siddur of the greatest Tzaddik Chassid. Siddur Rabbi Asher - Lvov, 1787.

Siddur according to the Ashkenazic custom, Sephard version, [I], with Kavanos HaAri and his editings. First edition. Lvov 1787.

As we know, the same printing house printed that year the first edition of the Noam Elimelech and as is traditional by Seforim and Sofrim, the workers of the printing house were holy people of the 36 hidden Tzaddikim of the generation.

Siddur Tefilah for all year round, with Kavanos HaAri, [section I: Tefilos for the days of the week]. Yehuda Shlomo ben Naftali Hirtz Yarush Rappaport Press, Lvov, 1787.

Appearing in this copy is a late stamp of the Russian censor with an inscription from 1834 and in the same script, corrections and comments for fear of the censor.

In addition, interesting and important ownership notations from the period.

A little about the virtue of the Siddur and its importance: edited by the sages of the Kloiz of Brody and printed in Zholkva in 1781. In the precise Lvov edition, all the errors of the Zholkca edition were corrected, editings were added as well as Kavanos from Etz Chaim, Sefer HaYichudim, Machberes HaKoddesh and especially from the Siddur of Rabbi Shabtai of Roshkov, a disciple of the Besht, which had not yet been printed.

In Sefer 'Imrei Pinchas' it is written that 'Maran the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz and with him all the disciples of the Besht used the Lvov edition of Siddur HaAri, refusing to pray from any other ... when this Siddur was printed it was considered by them a gem...' His son after him, the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon of Zaslav also wrote 'One should pray only from the Lvov edition of the Ari's version or from the Suddir of Rabbi Shabtai and not other versions of the new Siddurim'. Thus, in the courts of Ziditchov and Spinka, all the Tzaddikim and Chassidim made an effort to pray only from a copy of the edition before us, or alas, from editions that copied this one.

As said, the press of Rabbi Shlomo Yarush Rappaport of Lvov printed in that year, 1787, the first edition of 'Noam Elimelech', as is traditional by Seforim and Sofrim, the workers of the printing house were holy people of the 36 hidden Tzaddikim of the generation.

[216] leaves, 18 cm. Early important ownership notations. Stains, moth holes, wear to margins. Some short tears, fair-good condition.
