Antique Armenian Ottoman plate, "Pilgrim Abraham" Jerusalem 1731
An antique Armenian Ottoman plate, copper, decorated with engravings: in the middle of a medallion with an animal, surrounded by flowers, the instrument's mouth decorated with stylized trees and alternating floral stems, and an inscription in the Armenian language "Son of Hakop, Mahtes (=Holy Land Pilgrim) Abraham. Year 1731″. A rare and interesting and authentic plate! Diameter: 37.5 cm, weight: 1480 grams, in very good condition relative to the period!
