Me'am Loez - the book of Bereishit - homilies in Ladino by Rabbi Yaacov ben Machir, Otolingi printing press, Livorno, 1822.
The title page is illustrated with a woodcut of Moshe and Aharon, on the leaf after the title page is the symbol of the printer 'Gur Aryeh Yehuda'. The book is in Ladino with an introduction in Hebrew by Rabbi Yehuda Koreat.
10, 240 leaves, 32 cm. Includes rare leaves of indexes, all complete.
Old cardboard binding, stains. Fine condition.
