Two Important Polemic Books of Kabbalah, 19th Century

Two important polemic books of Kabbalah, bound together:

* A story which happened to Rabbi Yaacov Shimshon of Shepetivka with the famous Rabbi Yechezkel Landau author of the books Noda B'Yehuda and Sifrei Tzalach. Warsaw, 1892 - A discussion between the Noda B'Yehuda and Rabbi Yaacov Shimshon of Shepetivka about the book 'Toldot Yaacov Yosef' by Rabbi Yaacov Yosef of Polonne - which the Noda B'Yehuda strongly opposed. It is related that the author of the Toldot Yaacov Yosef appeared to his disciple Rabbi Shimshon of Shepetivka in a dream and sent him to the Noda B'Yehuda to discuss his opposition to the book, and he came to him dressed as a pauper, and in an eight-page long debate the disciple allegedly succeeded in disproving the Noda B'Yehuda's claims about the book. "And when the Rabbi of Prague heard this, he immediately took the book Toldot Yaacov Yosef from under his feet where it had been placed and lifted it up and kissed it with his mouth, and asked the Rabbi from Shepetivka to tell him a miraculous story about his Rabbi...". 8 leaves. Tear with lack at the bottom of the pages with slight damage to text.
