Homilies for the holidays and novellae in Shas and halacha by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Friedman, Av Beit Din Liska. First edition.
Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Friedman was one of the most prominent Hungarian Admors. He was a disciple of the Yismach Moshe and Divrei Chaim of Sanz. He was a noted wonder worker and people came from all over the world to receive his blessings.
The title page bears the owner stamp of "Hk' Moshe Menachem HaKohen Mendel Shochet Arta of Deretshka" and a handwritten notation: נתן לי לזכר עולם תלמידי יקירי ה"ב שמעון בוימאה"ל נ"י ויפרח ,ה"ק משה מנחם הכהן מאנדל.
